I was led to help other women have a positive birth experience.
I am a mother of three, who has realized each pregnancy is different and every pregnant mom deserves all the support she needs.
I have over 20 years of experience in the medical field and a B.S. in Healthcare Management with 8 of those years serving as a doula. My passion is volunteering my time within the community with organizations such as CASA, Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center, and The Rainbow House just to name a few.
Helping those in need of my services, is something that I am committed to provide.

As a woman of faith, I believe I was led to coach other women in having a positive birth journey. My desire is to provide physical and emotional support based on my client values to decrease the black maternal mortality rate.
My Story
I am dedicated to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you and your family. Understanding that everyone's journey is different during this transition in life. As a doula I cannot perform any medical procedures and am solely working for you and not the hospital.
Whether you have decided to home birth or birth in a hospital, as a doula my scope of practice is to provide educational materials to help you make informed decisions. I will provide emotional and physical support that is catered to you and your partner specific needs by helping you craft your ideal birth and postpartum plan and yes that includes having an epidural.

My services also includes postpartum support along with breastfeeding support and referrals.

Upon request, placenta encapsulation and/or tinctures and keepsakes can be provided.
